SOCIALIZATION OF OMBUDSMAN REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA IN STISIP NH JAMBI

The Indonesian Ombudsman Regional Representative of Jambi Province, conducted the Ombudsman Socialization to STISIP NH Jambi. The event was held in the second floor building STISIP NH Jambi, on Thursday, September 18, 2018 and was attended by 40 students from two Departments of Government and Communication Sciences, including representatives from Employees / Lecturers of STISIP NH Jambi.

Abdul Rokhim, the Head of the Jambi Province Ombudsman, said that the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia (abbreviated ORI) previously named the National Ombudsman Commission is a state institution in Indonesia that has the authority to oversee the implementation of public services both organized by state and government organizers, including those held by Regionally Owned Enterprises, and State-Owned Legal Entity and private entities or individuals who are given the task of organizing certain public services in which part or all of the funds are sourced from the State Budget or Regional Revenues and Expenditures. This institution was formed based on Law Number 37 of 2008 concerning the Republic of Indonesia Ombudsman which was ratified in the DPR RI Plenary Meeting on September 9, 2008.

Abdul Rahim also said Whoever is allowed to report when finding obstacles, Every Indonesian Citizen who lives in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia or outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, has the right to submit a report to the Ombudsman.
